Hello there! My name's Nicole. I'm from a little tropical island near the equator. It's known as the Little Red Dot, or Singapore. Right now, I'm considered a tween. Why? That's because I'm at the age between child and teen(ager), which is 13. I'm a Chinese girl, with close roots from China. But definitely without the attitude. I've recently graduated from my awesome primary school. And currently, I'm studying in a great secondary school. I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift. I have 2 of her albums,
Fearless (Platinum Edition) and
Speak Now (Deluxe Edition). I couldn't get her first album sadly, because they don't sell it anymore in my country. But I suspect it's sold out here. Her music is of country pop genre, and for a girl like me from Asia, it's pretty uncommon to like country music. The people here nowadays are IN LOVE with what they call, k(orean)-pop. And apparently, I don't exactly like it. (They even have a Malay serial drama about 3 women who loves k-pop!) Also, Greyson Chance is another artist I'm a fan of. He is 14 years old now, a year older than me, and already has an album called
Hold On 'Til The Night. He has one of my favourite kind of strong vocals and his music is catchy! So, when I was introduced on the internet by my friend, instantly, I became his fan. To be clear, I like country, pop, a little rock and some R&B. But I only 'fan' when I'm 'in love' with their voices.

My favourite colour, which changed over the years, is green. It used to be red for 6 months back in 2008, blue for 1 year back in 2009 and turquoise in 2010. But now, I've finally decided on a colour that I love. And it's the colour green. Apparently, I love antique looking stuff, like a bronze key. It makes the item look old, vintage which makes it seem to have a higher value than normal silver coloured bracelets and such. Bronze coloured items are attractive in my eyes, but bronze coloured skin, that's a different story. I also love a delicacy called chocolate. It's my favourite 'food', if it even counts, of everything I've tried. For one, I'm not like typical Asians who love eating exotic food. Example, Shark's Fin. In fact, I'm against it. Why? Go Google on how they get shark's fin. It's horrible, honestly. So I sincerely hope that people will stop killing them and instead protect the sharks.
Recently, I cut my hair to a short bob. It used to be quite long, past my shoulder blades. I felt that it was a chore to keep tying my hair for school, combing through all those knots, pulling out hair and crap. Also, tying my hair up in a ponytail made me look like a nerd, since I'm wearing glasses. All in all, I wanted a change, so I started with my hair. This is my first step to becoming 'ME'. When I told people about it, all my relatives and friends thought that I shouldn't have cut my nice hair. But at the same time, they are desperate to see my new hairstyle. This is my first step to becoming 'ME'. I have also started to dress in clothes that I like, that I want. Like flowing dresses, over-sized tees. This is my style.
Nowadays, everybody keeps asking me what is my dream job. And honestly speaking, I don't know. But I do know is that I want to have a job that is somewhere in the designing area. I would love to design something and see it on someone or somewhere. It makes me feel happy knowing that people enjoy the things that I have done, even though they may never be thankful for it. I'm working on finding out my dream job right now, seeing as I only have about 3 to 6 years to figure it out before I start my courses for my future job. Hopefully, I can be happy in my job, passionate and persevering to reach whatever goal I have in the future.
Oh yes, my hobby is, well, reading and singing. I sing in the shower, I'll admit that, when I'm plain bored or even while reading! (Multitasking my hobbies!) Though my sister keeps saying that I sound horrible when I sing. Well, it is a fact that I have quite a low voice for a girl. (One of the lowest of the girls in my class.) But don't worry, my dream isn't to be singer, but as said before, some kind of a designer. So you won't have to listen to my 'horrible' voice over radios, if I even become a singer. So yeah, that's about it. I don't really have lots of things to put here, since my life is still in progress. I've lived on earth for such a short period of time and I've seen countless people. Backstabbing, selflessness, helpful, arrogant, but all of them, they were or are my friends. This is how life goes, round and round, just like the earth. Smiles!
